Sr. Operations Manager / Operations Head

 

Our ideal Sr. Operations Manager / Operations Head is a seasoned professional who is responsible for end-to-end process & people mangement including performance management, production & quality management, staffing, coaching & mentoring, developing standards, exploring technological opportunities, process improvement, analytical decision making, organizational culture building, and function as a single point of contact to US counterparts for Indian operations.

Role:

  • Increasing management's effectiveness by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and developing disciplined managers.
  • Communicating values and objectives, proper delegation, assigning accountabilities, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results, performance-based incentivizing, and overall developing a climate of offering information and opinions.
  • Strategic planning of operational processes and procedures by studying technological and financial opportunities; presenting assumptions, recommending objectives.
  • Accomplishing subsidiary objectives by establishing winning plans, budgets, milestones, and analytical measures. Allocating resources; reviewing progress; making mid-course corrections.
  • Coordinating efforts by establishing procurement, production, technical services, policies and practices, and coordinating actions with staff.
  • Build company’s corporate image and reputation by collaborating with employees and external parties, enforcing ethical business practices.
  • Maintain quality by establishing and enforcing organization standards. Maintains professional and technical etiquettes.
  • Closely coordinate with the US management team to strategize effective offshoring of new projects and processes.

 

Desired candidate profile

  • 10-15 years’ overall experience with a significant exposure to operations management in IT / ITES sectors or similar environment.
  • Should have handled operations management in organizations with 100+ employees.
  • Should be very tech-savvy and proficient with essential computer/technology tools.
  • Excellent / empathetic communicator with team leading, interpersonal, and coordination skills.
  • A self-starter with high level of integrity and autonomy.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills
  • Knowledge and exposure to e-commerce / IT domains
  • Should be willing for relocation to Kochi, Kerala

Job Location: Palarivattom, Kochi, Kerala

Package:  As per industry standards (package is not a constraint for the right professional)

Work shift: Afternoon Shift (3 pm – 12 am) - Monday to Friday
