Operations Manager (Night Shift)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our ideal Night Shift Operations Manager is a seasoned professional responsible for managing multiple teams in Creative Design, Order Processing, and Catalog Management etc. for a US e-com product marketing business.  An overview of the major responsibilities as below;

  • Process Management
    Efficiently oversee work assignments and workflow distribution to ensure seamless operations and timely completion of the orders.
  • Performance Management:
    Monitor and evaluate individual and team performance, implement performance improvement plans, and foster a high-performance work environment.
  • Production & Quality Management:
    Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance with organizational guidelines.
  • Staffing & Resource Allocation:
    Manage staffing requirements by identifying talent needs, conducting workforce planning, coaching & mentoring, and ensuring optimum resource utilization.
  • Developing Standards:
    Establish and implement operational guidelines, performance metrics, and best practices to drive consistency and excellence.
  • Exploring Technological Opportunities:
    Identify and implement innovative technological solutions to enhance operational efficiency and process automation.
  • Process Improvement:
    Continuously analyze workflows to identify bottlenecks, streamline processes, and implement data-driven improvements.
  • Analytical Decision Making:
    Use data analysis and insights to make informed decisions, solve problems, and optimize operations.
  • Organizational Culture Building:
    Foster a collaborative and inclusive work culture that aligns with organizational values and promotes employee engagement.
  • Single point of Contact for US Counterparts:
    Act as the primary liaison between the US counterparts and Indian operations, ensuring clear communication and alignment of goals.

Desired candidate profile

  • 10+ years of overall experience with significant exposure to operations management in IT / BPO companies or similar environment.
  • Should have handled operations management of team/s of a significant size.
  • Should be very tech-savvy and proficient with essential technology tools.
  • Excellent / empathetic communicator with excellent people management and coordination skills.
  • A self-starter with high level of integrity and autonomy.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Knowledge and exposure to e-commerce / design / IT domains preferred.
  • Should be willing to work in US shift (night shift).

 

Job Location: Palarivattom, Kochi, Kerala

Package:  As per industrial standards (package is not a constraint for the right professional)

Work shift: Night (7 pm – 4 am) - Monday to Friday
